Peplum: New trend / nueva tendencia

El "peplum"  es una de esas tendencias que aparecerá en nuestros armarios esta primavera/verano 2012, y que veremos de nuevo en la temporada de otoño/invierno 2012, consolidándose así entre nuestras prendas. 

Para quienes no sepáis qué es, se trata de esa sobrefalda que se superpone a las faldas, vestidos o chaquetas, para realzar las curvas de la mujer y definir nuestro cuerpo, ensanchando nuestras caderas y haciendo un efecto visual de cintura estrecha.

Típico de las figuras de los años 40, es una tendencia no apta para quienes tienen un cuerpo tipo pera, con hombros y pecho estrecho y caderas anchas, pero es perfecta, para quienes tienen un cuerpo ancho en la parte superior y estrecho en las caderas, porque con ello conseguirán el efecto de equilibrar sus curvas, o quienes poseen el cuerpo llamado de "reloj de arena", ya que ensalzará más su silueta. 

A new wave is coming shyly this spring/summer 2012, the peplum. And the next season, we'll have it in our wardrobe such a fall trend. If you don't know, what's that. 

The peplum is a short overskirt attached to the dresses, pencil skirts or fitted jackets, you could see a peplum attached to a flared skirt, but it's not the usual. 

Became popular in the 1940's. You must to observe your own body type. If you have a pear body type, it's better not to wear this, it will emphasize your hips, unbalancing your body. 

 A peplum with cinched waist could emphasize your stunning curves. If you have shorter hips, this is your trend. It makes the hips look a bit larger. It will suggest a hour-glass body type.

Blumarine AW12, Milano Fashion Week

Siguiendo con los desfiles de otoño/invierno 2012, uno de mis preferidos ha sido Blumarine. 

En la primera parte, optaron por presentar ropa de abrigo como las chaquetas de pelo o los plumíferos (una de las tendencias del otoño próximo). Me encanta el uso del color, los tonos neón y los grises metalizados en chaquetones y bolsos, estos últimos muy originales, hace años tuve uno así... no debí tirarlo!

A new post, a new fashion show. This time, I´ve chosen the Blumarine one. It took place in Milano.

They started by the outerwear. I love the bi bird-style jackets and the puffer jackets (one of the next season trends). I think the bright florescent colours are the quitz, the metallic grey is great too. And the bag are amazing! I had one a few years ago, but I threw it away, bad luck!

Presentaron varios conjuntos de chaquetas, tipo cazadora, y faldas en A. Estampado animal y telas metálicas.

Continued at jackets mixed with line-A cut skirts. Animal print in total look and fabrics with metallic effects are so futuristics.

 Toda la colección tiene un aire muy joven, con vestidos ajustados y accesorios XL.

The entire collection is so youthful, they created scrunched dress combinated with huge hoops and bejewelled necklaces.

Os gustan los zapatos metélicos con ese toque deportivo?
Do you like the metallic sport shoes with high heels?

 También hubo un momento para la sensualidad y los vestidos vaporosos.
They showed sensual and sheer silk dressses.

Louis Vuitton AW12, Paris Fashion Week

En el último día de la Semana de la Moda de París, pudimos ver el magnífico desfile de Louis Vuitton. El escenario no podía ser más bonito. Una estación de tren antigua, muy estilo Downton Abbye, al igual que la ropa. De pronto, aparecio un tren de vapor, con su maquina y sus vagones, y las modelos empezaron a descender de él, acompañadas de maleteros que portaban los bolsos de la casa para mejor visualización de los mismos. 

En cuanto a la ropa, se han repetido varias tendencias que parecen ser las protagonistas del próximo invierno 2012. Los pantalones al tobillo, el largo de la falda bajo la rodilla (utilizaron las faldas sobre los pantalones en muchos looks) y el corte en A, que entalla en la parte superior del cuerpo y abre a medida vamos bajando. Los tonos muy invernales van desde el negro y berejena hasta el beige o el rosa empolvado. Utiliza mucho el estampado joya y las telas brocadas, todo con mucho brillo. Impresionantes las chaquetas tipo frac, uno de mis favoritos. 

Sin duda, Marc Jacobs supo impresionar a todos. Además, una invitada especial, Sarah Jessica Parker, iba también en el tren. 

The final day of Paris Fashion Week, and all the people was waiting for Louis Vuitton and  his show. It was amazing. A steamy train arrived at 10 a.m. in a train station scenerio. When I saw it, I thought about "Downton Abbey" serial. The models began to get off  accompanied by bellboys (they  carried the bags). 

The 2012 Autumn/Winter trends were there: ankle trousers, the new midi lenght skirts and the A-line cut. They used the skirts over the pants. The colour palette was the same as I saw in other shows: burgundy, black, nude, rose powder and beige, among others. 

A lot of brocades and jacquards, embroidered with glimmering jewels. And very nice  tail coats, one of my favs!  

Marc Jacobs is a great man, he knows women and we love him. Sarah Jessica Parker was in the train, too, she was her special guest. 

Me encantaron los gorros grandes, los guantes largos y como no, los bolsos. El Speedy renovado con strass, los bolsos XL con pieles y las sombrereras.

 I love the big hats, the large gloves and, of course, the bags. You could see turry tote bags , XXL bags in leather and a renowed Speedy with jewelled holograms.

Y si vas a ir a París en estos próximos meses, debes saber que desde el 09 de Marzo al 16 de Septiembre, en el espacio de Les Arts Décoratifs, estará la exposición llamada "Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs".
